Orchestra De Cymru is privileged to have Emmanuel Siffert as its Principal Guest Conductor. Emmanuel works on a regular basis with the Swiss Chamber Orchestra and also conducts major orchestras including the Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Welsh National Opera Orchestra, Rundfunksinfonieorchester Saarbrücken, Mexico City Orchestra of European Chamber Opera and the Nürnberger Philharmoniker. His radio recordings include Rundfunksinfonieorchester Saarbrücken (live), Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana (live and studio recordings) and the Swiss Chamber Orchestra (live) and several with  the RPO.

Emmanuel is also involved as a teacher of conducting and gives classes in opera scenes for singers in various summer academies. Orchestra De Cymru was proud to take part in the first ‘Opera Conducting Course’ in Wales with Emmanuel.
